ControlLogix Workstation (Level 2) - ControlLogix Fundamentals and Troubleshooting / Programming Curriculum and Workstation
The ControlLogix Workstation is designed to practice those job tasks that are frequently performed on the plant floor. The workstation is designed to be used as an aid for strengthening and maintaining skill sets. The workstation offers a means to simulate the same control schemes running through a plant. This workstation includes a 10-slot I/O chassis for module expansion and flexibility.
As students learn about ControlLogix controllers and components, hands-on exercises will allow students to practice how to:
- Identify and locate the components of a programmable control system
- Download programs to a ControlLogix controller
- Develop troubleshooting skills needed to assess abnormal conditions in a working system
Engaging student materials, classroom discussions, lab exercises, and supplemental videos, podcasts, web links, and demonstrations, combine to give students a highly interactive classroom experience. The variety of learning resources and integrated activities in this class will give students a solid troubleshooting foundation and prepare them for more advanced automation-related courses.
