Two high schools in Detroit, MI unveiled a new robotics training program with FANUC America allowing hands-on experience for students and certified training. The FANUC Certified Automation Training program is an elective course for 11th-grade and 12-grade students at Denby and Pershing. Students enrolled in this program and receive certifications will be qualified to fill a wide variety of high-demand and high-paying careers in robotics and advanced manufacturing. Local employers are already expressing interest in partnering with Detroit Public Schools Community District to offer students internship opportunities.
